Antique Italian sgabello chair, c. 19th-century Renaissance Revival. Traditionally used as architectural seating in entrance halls, corridors, and along walls. Constructed of solid Italian walnut with a pierced, sculptural back and octagonal seat. Designed to be styled with books, plants, and decorative objects. Seating not recommended.
